September Summit 2022
As always, one-time attendance for trying out are possible and encouraged. Just come by! :-).
Next September I will teach a combination of attractive Feldenkrais lessons. On Tuesday on the topic Free Shoulders - Free Neck (Tuesday 18h-19h), on Thursday (Thursday 18h -19h) on the topic Free Hips - Free Legs. These are two series of five hours each, focused on improving the mobility of our most important limbs. The classes take place mostly lying down and no previous knowledge is needed - except the curiosity to learn something new and to feel oneself in the movement.

Thursday 30.06.2022 18h - 19h (Hoher Markt 5)
The last class we will comfortably prepare for the summer. See, look, look around..... Freedom in the head and eye coordination. Important for hiking, looking up and watching people and animals and for everything that arouses our interest on vacation. Come by again for a nice slide into midsummer!

Thursday 2.06.2022 18h - 19h (Hoher Markt 5)
This class is performed lying down and standing up. It is called "Head and sholder". We will explore the coordination of our head, eyes as well as our torso. So this is not an advertisement for a shampoo but an effective lesson for improving the cooperation of our sensory center with the torso.
Tuesday 31.05.2022 (Parisergasse 4/1)
We continue the class with the "Heels under the pelvis - "Rolling into sitting". We will deepen the exploration of the movement of our toes, ankle, knee, hip joints. The mobility will co-activate our backs and relieve tension. Walking and running will become more effortless and functional.
Thursday 19.5.2022 18h - 19h
This hour we will take a calmer and more relaxing approach. In light lying movements we will explore the movement possibilities of our chest and neck with light pleasant rotations. A Feldenkrais classic! I have done this lesson many times and each time I discover new possibilities for more ease and freedom from tension.
Tuesday 17.05.2022 (Parisergasse 4/1)
We continue with "Heels under the Pelvis - Japanese Sitting". This time we go even further east - into the realm of the rising sun! After the last few classes our feeling for the toes has become very big. Ankles, leg muscles, knees and pelvis are in better harmony and we feel greater flexibility. Some more some less but all we feel improvements. Time to think about sitting. The travelling season starts again and who knows, maybe we will go to Japan and sitting for dinner will require some flexibility. No problem, it can be learned in an hour!
Tuesday 12.05.2022 & Thursday 28.04.2022 18h - 19h
We continue with "Heels under the pelvis - The Russian Dancer". So this time it will be Russian! In the movement sequences of this lesson we expand the movement possibilities of our feet and our pelvis. Nothing for softies this time, but an exciting lesson in which we notice how our mobility has improved since the last hour.

We continue with the series called "Heels under the pelvis". In several movement sequences we familiarize ourselves with the movement of our feet. Don't we know the possibilities of moving our feet? Most of the time not really! But after this series very well! And the Achilles tendon, any kind of hallux pain, our knees and our hip joints thank us for that. Incidentally, the calves and thigh muscles also lengthen.

Welcome to the first lesson of the spring course. The spring course is specifically dedicated to the topic of lengthening muscles without stretching. Stretching is of course a good tool to "lengthen" "shortened", muscles. However, like a spring, muscles will soon return to their original shape. To achieve lasting change we need to tackle the root. In our brain and nervous system. This is what we will explore with 10 lessons in the spring class.
In this lesson we will begin with improving the mobility of the pelvis. We will explore the rotation of the hip joints - lying on the floor!
